Paws4Potter Presents

The 3rd Annual
"Making A Mark On K9 Cancer"
Dog-Walking Event
Saturday, September 22nd, 2018

Did you know that at least ONE out of every FOUR dogs will develop some form of cancer in his or her lifetime? Please join Paws4Potter at the 3rd Annual "Making A Mark On K9 Cancer" Dog-Walking Event on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 to help raise awareness for this horrible disease in our canine companions! This event will be held at the Rotary Pavilion of Thompson Park (between the zoo and the golf course) in Watertown, NY from 10AM until 2PM.

Two walking routes, led by Paws4Potter volunteers, will be available for you and your dog(s) to participate in! There will be a 2-mile walking route for those who would like to participate in a nice, long walk through the beautiful Thompson Park. For those participants (humans and canines) who are eager to walk but may need a shorter distance, there will also be a 0.75-mile walking route. Are you a dog lover but don't have a dog to bring to the event? Never fear! We hope that you will still join us at the event and take a walk with us to support awareness for K9 cancer! This event will be held rain or shine!

What better way to spend a crisp, fall day with your dog than to take a leisurely walk through the park and raise awareness for K9 cancer at the same time? There will also be a Halloween dog costume contest, a parade of K9 cancer survivors, local vendors, raffles, treats for both dogs and humans, and more! Patrick Danforth Photography will be taking photos of the event, and you will have the opportunity to have your dog's photo taken for a small donation!

Registration will begin at 9:15AM, with the official event kick-off beginning at 10AM. Please make sure that you have proof with you of DHPP and Rabies vaccines for your dogs, as these are required vaccines in order for your dogs to participate in this event.

The Halloween Costume Contest will be held promptly at 10:30AM (so that the dogs don't have to walk in their costumes), with the walk following directly afterwards!

All participants will get a goody bag for their dog(s)! Water and poop bags will also be provided to each registered participant!
