DATE:
Saturday, October 21st, 2017

TIME:
Registration begins at 9:15AM, with the event kick-off beginning at 10AM and running until 2PM.

LOCATION:
Rotary Pavilion of Thompson Park (between the zoo and the golf course) – physical address is 1 Thompson Park, Watertown, NY 13601.

WALKING COURSE:
Two courses through the beautiful park are available, depending on your dog’s fitness level – a 2-mile course or a 0.75-mile course. Both walks will begin at the entrance of the Rotary Pavilion and will be led by Paws4Potter volunteers.

REGISTRATION FEE:
Online Registration Closes Wednesday, October 18th.

Shirt Sizes Guaranteed if registered by October 4th.

If you are a local business wishing to participate in this event and have a vendor table at the event, the registration fee for your business is $50 and includes 2 registrations. Businesses MUST pre-register by Wednesday, October 18th and can do so by e-mailing me at paws4potter@gmail.com. Businesses will not be able to pre-register online at this time.

Event Participation Rules

  • Participating dogs must be up to date on core vaccines (DHPP and Rabies), and participants must present proof of these vaccines at the time of the event.
  • No dogs less than 4 months of age and no dogs currently in heat will be allowed to participate in the event.
  • Dogs must be kept on a 6-foot (or shorter) leash at all times. Please refrain from using retractable leashes!
  • It is the pet owner’s responsibility to pick up any waste produced by his/her dog(s). A poop bag will be provided to each participant at the sign-in table.
  • A maximum of 2 dogs PER person will be allowed entrance to the event.
  • Minors (children under the age of 18 years) must be accompanied by an adult. Participating minors must have their waivers signed by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Pet owners must be in control of their dogs at all times. We politely request that all participating dogs be friendly with other dogs!
  • Dogs must remain at the designated event location and associated (marked) walking paths while they are participating in this event.
  • No cats are allowed at this event.
